Rosenberg police are looking for a man they say is responsible for the murder of his wife and mother-in-law shortly after midnight Sunday, Dec. 27 at a home in the 2400 block of Chestnut Drive.

Police say 44-year-old Albert James Turner stabbed his wife, 39-year-old Keitha Frank Turner, and her mother, 66-year-old Betty Jo Frank, in what was described as a “very violent” manner. Frank was pronounced dead at the scene and Keitha Frank Turner was pronounced dead at Oak Bend Hospital.
Several children of the Turners, the oldest 12, were in the home when the murders occurred, as was Frank’s husband. Police say he was assaulted, but not with a knife and sustained no serious injuries.
Albert James Turner fled the scene shortly after the stabbing, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. He may be driving a 1994 Maroon Honda Accord with the license plate number 494-JFY. Albert James Turner has family in Florida, and Rosenberg police are working with several other police agencies along the I-10 corridor.
Albert James Turner is an employee of the Texas Department of Corrections, and may be in possession of TDC uniforms. He is described as a black man, 6’1”and 270 lbs.
