Touchdown Club of Houston Honors FBISD High School Athletes

Seven Fort Bend Independent School Distrct high school football players were recently among outstanding athletes throughout the Greater Houston Area honored by the Touchdown Club of Houston. The Touchdown Club of Houston has honored the high school football players since 1980. Selection of recipients is made by the area’s coaches and athletic directors.

 

FBISD athletes honored in the 2009 Greater Houston High School Awards Program as Defensive Finalists of the Year were Mike Jones of Kempner High School, Shaun Lewis of Hightower High School, Zach McMillian of Dulles High School, and Ray Oppman of Clements High School. Offensive Finalists of the Year representing FBISD were Jordan Jolly of Elkins High School and Andrew Suter of Clements High School. They were among the 20 finalists honored at the 30th Annual High School Awards Dinner, held December 9 at the JW Marriott Hotel.

 

Also honored by the Touchdown Club of Houston in its Annual Greater Houston Area Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year Competition was Robert Tolle of Clements High School. Tolle was named third place winner in the Club’s Scholar Athlete Program.
