The Spirit of Freedom Republican Women’s Club will be hosting the second political debate featuring the three announced candidates for Fort Bend County District Attorney.
The debate is scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. tomorrow, Jan. 15, at Spring Creek Barbeque, 4895 Hwy. 6.
Long-time incumbent John Healy will field questions, along with challengers Richard Raymond and Nina Schaeffer. All are running as Republicans.
According to information from the Fort Bend County Democratic Party, no Democrat filed to run for district attorney.
What I find interesting in that link you provided is the number of counts John admits to.

When is the next debate?
I believe they have another one of these coming up at the swinging door in Richmond on Feb. 11th at 6pm. Hopefully another good turn-out will help get the word out on reforming our local district attorneys office. Double digit budget growth and slow case disposition is not good management.
