The Fort Bend Independent School District has announced the names of 65 FBISD students who have been named finalists in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program. The 65 FBISD Finalists are among more than 1.5 million high school students in more than 21,000 United States high schools who entered the 2009 Merit Program by taking the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and were initially named as Semi-finalists.
Fort Bend ISD’s 2010 National Merit Finalists by campus are:

Beginning in March 2010 and continuing to mid-June, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation notifies approximately 8,200 Finalists that they have been selected to receive a Merit Scholarship awards. Merit Scholarship awards are of three types: National Merit $2,500 Scholarships, Corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards and College-sponsored Merit Scholarships awards.
