A 16-year-old boy, stopping at the community mailbox on the way home from Kroger, was beaten and robbed around 10 p.m. Feb. 20.
According to Missouri City police reports, the boy was at the mailboxes at the intersection of Aldridge and Prichard in the Vicksburg Village area. When he opened his car door, someone came up behind him, told him to get out of his car, and then pulled him out. Once the victim was out of the car, he saw four black men in dark colored pants and jackets with hoods over their heads and bandannas over their faces.
One of the men punched him in the face several times and once in the stomach. The boy fell to the ground, and the suspect stole his cell phone and cash from his wallet. The four suspects then left in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle.
Police are investigating.
Can someone who knows, tell me why these scum bags always take the cell phone, and police can’t track that phone? Jack Bauer can!
Personally, I think they should outlaw hooded jackets.
