I have never been a supporter of Ms. Olivio, however, my differences with her were for poisitions she took. I have always found her to be upfront and honest towards her constituants. However, I feel that what occurred in the Democratic party in this race is an embaressment. The party has now shown that character and integrity do not matter to them. The party machine supported an attorney who was found to have failed in his fiduciary responsibility towards his clients. He was suspended from the practice of law for a period of time and then failed to pay the required fine for his transgressions. These transgressions occurred less than five years ago. There is no Republican candidate for this office. Therefore, barring a write-in candidate, Mr. Reynolds will be our representative for the next two years.
