A 17-year-old Missouri City resident was arrested in the early morning hours Saturday after police say he was found having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.
The two were found in a car in Buffalo Run Park in the 1100 block of Buffalo Run around 3:30 a.m. March 6. Police initially made contact because the two were in violation of the park curfew.
Although the sexual contact was consensual according to police, Texas law makes 15-years-old the minimum age to give consent. The 17-year-old has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, a first degree felony.
