Lenton-Gary Draws Position One On Missouri City Ballot

Missouri City’s District B Councilwoman Cynthia Lenton-Gary will take position one on the upcoming ballot for the May 8 election. Lenton-Gary is only the second candidate to run against Mayor Allen Owen since 1994.

Greyling B. Poats ran unsuccessfully against Owen in 2006 and 2008.

Candidate Anthony Maroulis drew place one on the ballot for At-Large Position 1, challenging longtime councilman Jerry Wyatt. Wyatt ran unopposed from 2000 to 2006, when he defeated Noel Pinnock to keep his seat.

For At-Large Position 2, the ballot will include, in order, Kevin Tunstall, Danny Nguyen, Yolanda Ford and Judith Dupré.
