Bush High School Broncos Headed To State Championship Game

The Bush High School Broncos Boys’ Basketball Team is headed to the state championship game. The Broncos advanced to the Class 5A State Championship game after defeating the then nationally-ranked Bellaire Cardinals, 55-53, at the Class 5A Region III Basketball Tournament.

Led by head coach Ronnie Courtney, the Broncos currently hold an overall game average of 33-4. This year marks the team’s first regional win and state playoff game. The Broncos will go head-to-head with Flower Mound Marcus vying for the championship basketball title at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.
