Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the 2010 County Judge’s Volunteer Fort Bend Awards Ceremony, which will take place at 7:30 a.m. April 29 at Safari Texas Ranch. To be listed in the awards ceremony program, the deadline for corporate sponsorships is April 12.
Fort Bend County Judge Robert Hebert will present awards in recognition of Fort Bend County’s most outstanding volunteers and their accomplishments during the ceremony.
The winners of the county-wide search for the top volunteers in Fort Bend County were selected by a panel of judges from more than 25 nominations received from throughout the county. These five individuals – Dr. Mary Ernestine Butler, Barbara Garaygordobil, Robert Pourciau, Michael Biasini, and KK West – have exhibited “exemplary service to the organizations for which they volunteer, and have made a significant impact in the lives they touch.”

Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit Volunteer Fort Bend, an organization devoted to matching volunteers with nonprofit organizations in Fort Bend County that need assistance.
