Richmond Police have arrested a man believed to have raped a 9-year-old girl in Richmond last Sunday, the same day a different man tried unsuccessfully to lure two Stafford girls, ages 7 and 9, into his vehicle.
The rape suspect, Richmond resident Victor Manuel Rocha, Jr., 19, turned himself in to the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office in Brownsville Wednesday evening. Rocha will be held at that jail awaiting extradition back to Fort Bend County by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department.
Rocha is charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a child, a first degree felony.
