The Bush High School Broncos Navy JROTC Drill Team placed second overall at the State Navy JROTC Drill Meet, advancing them to the Navy JROTC National Drill competition for the fifth consecutive year.

The Bush High School Broncos Navy JROTC Drill Team placed second overall at the State Navy JROTC Drill Meet, advancing them to the Navy JROTC National Drill competition for the fifth consecutive year.
The state competition welcomed the state’s top 15 Navy JROTC drill teams in competitions consisting of military drill, academic exams relating to the Naval Science curriculum, physical fitness events, and a battalion personnel inspection.
The Broncos placed second overall in drill, second in academics, and second in physical fitness. They are among the top 24 Navy JROTC drill teams from across the nation to qualify for the national competition, which will be held in Pensacola, Florida in April. The Bronco Battalion is commanded by Cadet Commander Jimmy Reyes.
