Lamar Consolidated Independent School District officials are warning residents and facilities near the George Ranch High School and Antoinette Reading Junior High School sports complex that next week, the outdoor lighting will remain on 24 hours a day.
The lights will undergo what is called a “burn-in” period from April 19 to April 23. The burn-in period is required prior to normal use.
“Lamar CISD apologizes for any inconveniences that this may cause to homes or other facilities located in close proximity to the campuses,” said district representatives in a release.
