Women’s Health Symposium To Feature Mary Jo Rapini

Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital will feature national speaker, author and psychotherapist Mary Jo Rapini, LPC, at a free Women’s Health Symposium on May 1. Rapini will present the keynote, “How to Get Your Mojo Back,” to help baby boomers learn how to regain intimacy, even when children and menopause may interfere.

This health symposium is specifically designed for female baby boomers and includes door prizes. The event will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the University of Houston System at Sugar Land, located at 14000 University Blvd and U.S. Highway 59.

Rapini, who is featured on TLC’s new series, Big Medicine, will also present two other sessions: “It’s a Jungle Out There – the mature women’s guide to romance and dating” and “How to Sculpt Your Mate – getting what you want without nagging.”

Other breakout sessions will address revving up metabolism, caring for aging parents, using social media, BRAC testing options, yoga for health and more. Vendor booths will also provide attendees with opportunities to learn more about health and recreational products and services.

Early registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. and Rapini delivers her keynote at 9 a.m. For more information and to register, call 713-222-CARE (2273).
