A 57-year-old Missouri City man was arrested yesterday after shooting his shotgun in the direction of a wrecker driver who was repossessing the man’s truck for lack of payment.
According to reports, the wrecker driver showed up at Gerald Rivers’ house in the 16100 block of Morgan Run around 11 p.m. last night. He hooked the Ford F-150 up to the tow truck, then said he knocked on the door to the residence to let the owner know the truck was being repossessed.
Rivers told police the driver did not knock on his door, and that he was asleep when he heard a commotion, and came outside to find the driver “taking” his truck. He said he brought the shotgun out to “protect his property.”
The tow truck driver was not facing Rivers when the shot was fired, so couldn’t tell police if it was fired at him or in the air. Rivers said he shot in the driver’s direction. No one was harmed, and Rivers was arrested for aggravated assault.

That reminds me of that movie repo man. Anyone see it?
Great flick. I have the dvd.
You can’t keep it unless you can pay for it. With GPS, you have no choice but to drive it back to the dealership if you can’t make your payments. I have no problem with it because it should make credit cheaper for all.
Sounds desperate.
This sure is an ugly event.
