Richmond police are looking for a driver than ran over a 24-year-old man who died of his injuries hours later.
According to police, a man driving a newer model, red, Chevrolet 4-door pickup truck, struck Rosenberg resident Bruce Jesus Nunez around 11 p.m. Saturday night in the 1600 block of Jackson. Police found Nunez in the roadway, just east of Collins Road. He was taken to the Oak Bend Emergency Room, and then transferred to Memorial Hermann in Houston where he died from his injuries around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning.
Witnesses told police that Nunez got out of a white Chevrolet Tahoe at the intersection of Jackson and Collins and was walking towards Oak Bend Medical Center when he was hit. The driver that hit him did not stop.
