The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association has named Pamela Brown, assistant principal at Drabek Elementary School, as the District 4 Assistant Principal of the Year. The award recognizes school administrators for their educational leadership and dedication to children.
Assistant principals are selected by their peers based on their contributions and accomplishments as well as their efforts to improve student learning. Brown will be recognized at the TEPSA Awards Banquet on June 9.
TEPSA represents more than 5,800 elementary and middle school leaders, including principals, assistant principals, central office administrators and supervisors of reading, mathematics, science, special education and other disciplines. Formed in 1917, TEPSA was created to improve children’s futures by bettering education at the elementary level.
