Lake Pointe Town Center is kicking off summer with a free family-friendly event for the Sugar Land community. The event will take place in Lake Pointe Village located at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Hwy. 6 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. June 12.
The event, at the newly opened Lake Pointe Village Plaza, will feature free live music, entertainment, refreshments, games, giveaways and the opportunity to win $1,000 cash. It will also feature the largest beach ball drop in Sugar Land history, classic cars on display, a steel drum band complete with Calypso dancers and a local charity boat race.
Participants will also have an opportunity to learn about the First Colony Community Association’s new boat rental opportunities and can see a demo a boat on Brooks Lake. Lake Pointe Village shops and restaurants will be on hand to showcase products with interactive activities, food and giveaways.
