Hutchison Elementary Principal Chases A Pig As Reward For Test Performance

As a reward for Lamar Consolidated Elementary School Students performing well on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills tests, Hutchison Elementary Principal Eric Nicholie and Assistant Principal Cara Hoskins chased pigs through the mud, an activity voted on by the students.

Hutchison Elementary Principal Eric Nicholie shows off "Hornet" to Hutchison teacher Missy Gattis after a quick chase. In the background, Assistant Principal Cara Hoskins can be seen chasing "Buzz."

Every year Hutchison students think up stunts, write essays and then vote to decide what the principal and assistant principal will do on the last day of school.

The two pigs were released in the retention pond behind the school for the administrators to chase. The area received about two inches of rain the day before the chase, making the retention area extra muddy.
