Missouri City police responded to a one-car accident last night, and when police arrived they found the driver rocking back and forth in his truck saying “the Lord is good” repeatedly.
The man crashed his red Dodge pickup truck into a tree in near Eastfield Circle and Meadowview. After the wreck, he stayed in the truck talking to himself with the engine still running. A police officer pulled him out of the truck and put him on the ground, then turned off the engine.
The truck and the tree had minor damage. While searching the vehicle, police found cigarettes allegedly laced with PCP, as well as two clear vials. The driver was taken to Sugar Land Methodist Hospital, and will be charged with possession of the PCP and DWI at a later date.
