Elkins High School Students Collect Donations For The Fort Bend Rainbow Room

Eleventh grade students in a U.S. History classes at Elkins High School recently collected stuffed animals to donate to the Fort Bend Rainbow Room, a charitable organization dedicated to helping children and families in crisis by supporting the efforts of caseworkers to provide necessary emergency and transitional supplies.

Rainbow Room Board of Director Cher Binks accepted the donation on the charity’s behalf. Located in the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services building in Rosenberg, the Rainbow Room is stocked with emergency supplies and is available to caseworkers 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
