Around 7:46 a.m. Aug. 4, a resident in the 21600 block of Canyon Links Court in Katy heard a pounding noise coming from his neighbor’s house. The witness saw an unfamiliar vehicle parked in front of his neighbor’s house and saw three people walk towards the back yard.

Shortly after, he heard what sounded like glass breaking and called the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived within a few minutes and found three men inside the residence and a female lookout. According to reports, the suspects were found with the homeowner’s jewelry, assorted pocket knives, cologne, an undisclosed amount of cash and a 42” television; all of which was released back to the homeowner.

Two of the suspects have been identified as Jansel Arce, 19, and Abel Vicente, 20.  They are both of the Houston area and are now incarcerated in the Fort Bend County Detention Facility on charges for burglary of a habitation with no bail.  The other two suspects are juveniles and they were taken to the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Facility.
