A 27-year-old Missouri City resident was arrested Aug. 7 after a domestic dispute ended in gunfire.
According to reports, Dwight Ball was arguing with his girlfriend on Independence Boulevard at Bent Oak Drive, blocking traffic. The victim had several friends with her, and Ball allegedly physically assaulted her.
When a friend of the victim intervened, police say Ball got a handgun and fired at the victim and her friends, resulting in minor injuries to at least one person.
Ball left the scene, but was later arrested.
