A Stafford woman is recovering from surgery after her husband shot her twice early Tuesday morning before turning the gun on himself. The couple lived in the 800 block of Childers.
According police, the husband shot his wife twice around 7:50 a.m., then shot himself once. They were both taken by ambulance to Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
The husband was listed in critical condition, and died from his injuries yesterday. His wife is expected to recover after having surgery yesterday, but no update on her condition is available.
Police have no records of responding to previous domestic situations at the couple’s address.
The incident is currently under investigation, and no further information is available.
Well at least she is improving.
