A Fresno 49-year-old Fresno man has confessed to stabbing his 53-year-old brother Sunday, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 600 block of Cleo Drive in Fresno around 11:31 a.m. in response to a report of a stabbing. When they arrived on the scene, they found the body of Margarito Garcia, Jr., who appeared to have multiple stab wounds.
According to reports, the victim’s brother, Cruz Garcia, has confessed to the stabbing. Garcia is currently being held in the Fort Bend County Detention Facility on two outstanding warrants for Public Intoxication and Failure to Appear; as well as Tampering with Evidence.
