A 19-year-old Missouri City resident was killed early this morning in front of the home he shared with his grandmother at 1218 River Rock.
Police were called by a resident who heard shots fired around 1:44 a.m. When police arrived, they found the victim in the yard, shot multiple times. The victim was already dead, and not taken to a hospital.
Police say information is “very sketchy” at this time, and there is very little to work with from an investigative standpoint this early on.
Police are still investigating the shooting death of another resident that occurred in the 900 block of Derby Lane around 8:10 p.m. Aug. 11. Again, a resident reported shots fired and when police arrived they found the victim in his front yard shot multiple times. When medical personnel arrived, he was pronounced dead.
