Fulshear’s Cross Creek Ranch will host the second annual “Celebrate Your Princess” cancer awareness walk on Saturday, Oct. 23 with 100 percent of all entry fees benefitting the Breast Cancer Awareness Fund.
“CELEBRATE YOUR PRINCESS” – Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear will be the site of the second annual “Celebrate Your Princess” cancer awareness walk on Saturday, Oct. 23.
Check-in for the walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane. The one-mile walk through Cross Creek Ranch starts at 9 a.m.
Early registration through Oct. 8 is $15 per person; children under 12 can walk for free. Pets on leashes are also welcome.
The entry fee includes an event T-shirt and eco-tote.
Following the walk, youngsters can take advantage of a Kids Zone with bounce houses, a rock wall, face painting and pumpkin decorating. The KVPAC Princesses will also be on hand for the event.
Additionally, walkers can take part in the Pink Pamper Party featuring complimentary back massages, manicures and facials from local vendors. Pampering session for the young ladies taking part in the walk will be offered by Sweet and Sassy, and “pooch pampering” for the canine participants will be available courtesy Waggin’ Tails Pet Ranch.
There will also be a “pink market,” offering such items as flip-flops, T-shirts, candles and art.
Those shopping in the pink market will be entertained by local band Rewind.
