Dist. 22 Democratic Candidate Rogers Says Olson Wants To “Watch The Titanic Sink” To Gain More Votes

Kesha Rogers, the Democratic challenger to District 22 Representative Pete Olson, is accusing the incumbent of being more interested in scoring a political victory for himself than “saving the country from bankruptcy and disintegration.”

Congressional District 22 Democratic candidate Kesha Rogers is shown campaigning in February for the Democratic Primary election.

Rogers, Rogers, a Lyndon LaRouche activist, is calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.

“Have you been brainwashed to think, ‘We’ll vote him out in 2012…’? Not only is that merely a political line being fed to the American people, to create impotency, it’s the same line the German opposition government fed its people, in 1933,” said Rogers in a campaign release. “In reality, Republicans aren’t any more serious about impeaching Obama, than the Democrats were about impeaching Cheney and Bush in 2006, because they, like the Democrats in 2006, are generally more interested in using the desperation of the population to score a political victory for themselves, than in saving the country from bankruptcy and disintegration. The crisis the world is facing isn’t operating on election cycles–the crisis is such that Obama has to go now.”

Rogers said that Olson continues to defend Obama, and thinks he will get more votes by “watching the Titanic sink.”

During her primary election campaign earlier this year, Rogers was campaigning in Sugar Land holding signs of Obama with an Adolf Hitler moustache.

Rogers says the war in Afghanistan is unwinnable unless opium is eradicated, which she said is the “logistical base of the insurgency.”

“Olson repeated Obama’s British line, that we’re there to fight the Taliban, not intervene in their local economy,” said Rogers.

Rogers also blasted what she said is Olson’s stance on financial policy.

“As Obama increased the bailout of Wall Street derivatives to $27 trillion dollars, I said, this is causing hyperinflation; reinstate Glass-Steagall, which will end the bailouts and protect legitimate commercial assets from speculation,” said Rogers. “Olson is proud to have worked for Senator Phil Gramm, who repealed Glass-Steagall in 1999.

“When Obama created an austerity commission by executive order, to cut state and federal funding to vital support services, including Medicaid and Medicare, I warned that this is murder against the American people, and put forward the NAWAPA plan to create 3-6 million productive jobs. Olson basically agrees with Obama, and supports cutting such “wasteful spending” from ‘big government,’ without doing anything to increase our industrial production and scientific progress.”

Olson responded to Rogers’ release with a statement from his campaign manager, Tyler Nelson.

“Congressman Olson has been a strong opponent of President Obama’s job killing agenda,” said Nelson. “Yesterday with the release of the “Pledge to America” Congressman Olson and his republican colleagues have laid out a plan that will drastically reduce the size of government, stop the over spending, and put more dollars in the hands of families and small businesses so we can help our economy grow and empower innovation in America. Congressman Olson’s leadership on these vital economic issues will energize conservatives as well as independents to vote for him in this election.”

Wow, someone who actually stands for a principal! I agree, if the Republicans were a real opposition, they would call for impeachment–Lord knows, Obama is impeachable.

Anyway, Kesha sounds like a patriot–only a greenie would not want science projects that would improve the country and create jobs.

Anyone who doesn’t remember, it was Lincoln who built the railroads, Eisenhower who built the highways, and Reagan would have built the SDI if it hadn’t been sabotaged. . .heck JFK is practically a real Republican because he got NASA going!

Anyone who isn’t for that is in a “full diaper cult.”

Go Kesha, if you’re going to do those kind of things AND push for Obama’s impeachment (for starters)–then I would support you.
