A restored 1966 red Mustang, donated by KRMustang and Kevin Casey, is the prize for the holder of the $100 winning ticket at the 32nd edition of The Arc of Fort Bend County’s annual Best in the West Dinner, Dance and Auction.

Kevin Casey poses with the 1966 red Mustang he restored and donated to The Arc of Fort Bend County. Tickets for $100 are being sold by Arc volunteers and only 500 of them are available. The lucky ticket will be drawn Nov. 20 at The Arc’s 32nd annual Best in the West Dinner, Dance and Auction at the George Ranch Historical Park Arena in Richmond.
Sponsored once again by Prosperity Bank, the annual event returns to the George Ranch Historical Park Arena in Richmond on Nov. 20. Dinner from The Swinging Door begins at 6 p.m. Then the Rosenberg-based Triumphs take the stage, making their second appearance at The Best in the West.
Also returning is the silent auction, featuring “corrals” of items gathered by groups and organizations. The live auction kicks off at 8 p.m., highlighted by an exotic game hunt for six on the legendary King Ranch, a dream trip for two to the South Pacific paradise of Bali, a reserved parking spot at First Colony Mall and more.
Joining presenting sponsor Prosperity Bank are, to date, Scout Master sponsor Sprint Waste Services and Trail Boss sponsors Aliana and Sugar Land Rotary. Sponsorships are still available at $7,500, $5,000, $2,500 and $1,500 levels.
Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10. For sponsorship information or tickets, contact Jo Ann Stevens at 713-829-1827 or Ann Smith at 281-240-1313.
Proceeds from the annual Best in the West benefit The Arc of Fort Bend, helping maintain group homes, funding activity and work centers and providing for training and transportation of our citizens with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.

Now that’s a beautiful mustang!
