More than 750 Fort Bend-area men, women, children and even dogs “celebrated their princesses” and raised awareness for breast cancer during the second annual “Celebrate Your Princess” walk.

“CELEBRATING YOUR PRINCESS” – More than 750 people turned out for last Saturday’s “Celebrate Your Princess” walk at Cross Creek Ranch to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
The event was held last Saturday at Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear.
The walk was sponsored by Katy’s CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital and Trendmaker Homes.
In addition to the one-mile walk, the event included a “Pink Market” featuring such items as flip-flops, T-shirts, candles and art, as well as live music and testimonials from the “Royal Court” – a group of local breast cancer survivors.
Following the walk, youngsters took advantage of a Kids Zone with bounce houses, a rock wall, face painting and pumpkin decorating.
A “Pink Pamper Party” offered complimentary back massages, manicures and facials from local vendors.
Pampering sessions for younger ladies taking part in the walk were provided by Sweet and Sassy, while “pooch pampering” for the canine participants was made available courtesy Waggin’ Tails Pet Ranch.
