The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of the masked suspect who shot and killed a man in front of his young children Nov. 14 in the Townewest Subdivision.

The suspect in the Nov. 14 shooting in Townewest was wearing what witnesses described as a Halloween mask. Fort Bend County Detectives are requesting anyone with identifying details on the suspect or circumstances surrounding the murder to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office at 281-341-4665 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).

According to reports, around 6:37 p.m. 53-year-old Juvenio Guerra arrived at a home in the 10,000 block of Overview with his two young children when they were confronted by an armed black man wearing a mask. During the attempted robbery, the suspect shot the victim and was seen by several witnesses fleeing the area on foot. Witnesses described the suspect as wearing a Halloween mask and all black clothing.
Guerra was taken to Sugar Land Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect remains at large and the incident remains under investigation.
