Testimony Begins Friday In Trial Of Pecan Grove Woman Accused Of Killing Her Husband

Jury selection is scheduled to begin tomorrow in the trial of a Pecan Grove woman accused of killing her husband in November of 2006. Testimony will begin Friday.

According to reports, a Fort Bend County Emergency Communications dispatcher received a call around 7:10 p.m., with the caller saying that Charlene Hill, 49, just shot her 49-year-old husband Danny Hill.

Charlene Hill told deputies who arrived at her home that Danny Hill, her husband, had threatened to kill her, the sheriff’s report said.

Danny Hill appeared to have been shot several times in the chest and arm, and was transported by Life Flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

George J. Parnham is representing Charlene Hill, with Chad Bridges and Jill Stotts prosecuting.
