Man Goes Missing In MoCity After Running Out Of Gas

Missouri City Police are looking for a 73-year-old man who went missing after running out of gas and leaving his family in the car in search of fuel.

Missouri City Police are looking for this man, Jessie James Washington, after he disappeared Jan. 23 after running out of gas in the Lake Shore Harbor Subdivision.

According to reports, Jessie James Washington was traveling with his wife and two young grandchildren from Huntsville back to his home in Marshall.

Around 9 p.m. Jan. 23 the family became lost and ran out of fuel in Missouri City. Shortly after running out of gas, Washington walked away from their vehicle to find fuel. He has not been seen since.

Missouri City police discovered the truck in the street around 9:20 p.m. in the Lake Shore Harbor Subdivision, and learned of Washington’s disappearance from his family.

According to family members, Washington is diabetic and takes medication for high blood pressure.

Missouri City Police Officers with the assistance of Equi-Search volunteers, are searching the area in and around the Lake Shore Harbor Subdivision, located in the southern portion of Missouri City near the Fresno and Fort Bend County ETJ.

Washington is described as a black man, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 170 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes wearing a blue and brown stripped shirt and blue jeans.
