Mother, Daughter Robbed At Gunpoint In Sugar Land

A 20-year-old woman and her 52-year-old mother were robbed at gunpoint in front of their Sugar Land home Sunday.

According to reports, the woman and her mother returned to their home in the 1900 block of Magnolia Crest Lane around 12:54 p.m. They had just parked in the road in front of their house when a man approached them and took their purses at gunpoint before running away.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early to mid 20s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 185 to 200 lbs. with a stocky build. He had short hair and was wearing a white T-shirt, blue basketball shorts and black running shoes.

    Sounds like the MO for thieves in Sugar Land. Driveway, gunpoint, etc.

    Everyone should clean out their garages and park their cars in them.
