Sugar Land police are investigating an aggravated kidnapping in which two men were held at gunpoint after giving a woman a ride.
According to reports, two men were in Houston close to 2 a.m. this morning. They offered to give a woman a ride home, and when they dropped her off a man approached them and demanded money. Both the man and the woman then displayed guns.
The driver and his friend told the suspects they didn’t have any money, but could get some from their house.
The two victims and the armed man drove in the victim’s car to a friend of the driver’s house in the 220 block of Highland Hills. The woman followed in a second vehicle.
The driver said his friend went inside and called police while the other three waited outside in their cars. The driver also told police that the man with the gun got out of the victims’ car and left with the woman when police vehicles passed the parked cars.
Apparently, the victims left as well, although police won’t clarify why.
Police later found both the suspects and the victims traveling southbound on Hwy. 6 from Highland Hills.
Damien Lee Parritt and Sasset Marie Rockwell were arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated kidnapping. The investigation is ongoing.

My prayers are with the victims of my son’s crime. Please let me assure you that your lives were never in danger, intentionally. Damien, was not even able to kill the rat that made its way into my kitchen cupboard. He has had many problems over the years, but he has never caused physical harm to anyone. I am so truly sorry for the ordeal you have gone through. And I thank God that my son has never been a smart criminal. God was on YOUR side when you were allowed to enter (your) house alone and enabled to call the police. I praise God for your quick thinking during a time of great distress so that my son could be brought to justice, as always. God loves him also. If you do not believe in God, you should. God bless!!!!
