Since the publication in Fort Bend Now this morning of a Fort Bend Independent School Police Department investigation into Facebook pages called “Fbisd Whoress” and “Fbisd Hoes” the pages have been taken down.
Fort Bend Now reported this morning that an investigation was ongoing, and police were asking for anyone with information on the creator of the page to call the department.
The pages contained photos of students with extremely derogatory, expletive-filled captions. The students pictured and who were “friends” of the page were largely Travis High School and Bush High School students.
No phone numbers were available on the Facebook website, and Fort Bend Now sent an e-mail around 8:45 a.m. to the listed press e-mail address asking about the pages and the company’s policy on situations such as this one. As of the publication of this article, there has been no response.
It is not known if FBISD police will continue their investigation now that the pages have been removed.
