More than 250 local students will compete at the Fort Bend Regional History Fair on March 5 at Sartartia Middle School, 8125 Homeward Way in Sugar Land.
These students have been studying topics related to the national theme of “Debate and Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences.” Future historians representing area middle and high schools will submit projects, including original documentaries, exhibits, papers, performances, and websites for judging. The contest activities will begin at 8 a.m., and several judging venues are open to the public. The day will culminate with an awards presentation beginning at 1:15 p.m.
