A 22-year-old Rosenberg man was arrested early Sunday morning after a resident called police concerning a car burglary in progress.
According to reports, police were called to the 5500 block of Reading Road around 1:40 a.m. A witness gave Officer Gary Roberts a description of the suspect’s vehicle, and within five minutes Roberts found the car and pulled the driver over.
According to police, Roberts found electronics and other items in the car that were confirmed as belonging to the burglary victim. The driver, Edward Palacios, was arrested, charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and taken to the Fort Bend County Jail.
