Board Candidate’s Position In Error On FBISD Website

According to documents obtained by Fort Bend Now, Fort Bend Independent School District Board of Trustees candidate Rodrigo Carreon has filed for Position 4, not Position 5, as the district indicates on its website.

FBISD administrators are unavailable due to the Spring Break holiday, but district spokeswoman Mary Ann Simpson said the issue will be looked into at the first opportunity.

Position 4 is currently held by Daniel Menendez, who has filed for re-election and will be joined on the ballot by Bruce Albright and Kevin Daniels.

Position 5 is currently held by Laurie Caldwell, who is not seeking re-election. Patsy Taylor and Jonita Reynolds have filed for the seat.

    To Whatever

Whatever, do you happen to work for the PR department at the central office? Do you care that our tax dollars go to pay for such high debt, massive budget deficits and incompetence? Do you pay property taxes in FBISD? Do you think workers paid that much should be competent and fair minded?

Why all the hate for the secretary? Her salary range was decided by the accounting folks and her boss decided her exact salary within that range. Many assistants to a high level executive make over a $100k per year plus extras like a cell phone and laptop with an air card. I don’t know her but I am sure she does a lot more than answer a phone. If her boss is as bad as the posters on this site make it sound, doesn’t she deserve that much for putting up with him? If you don’t like it, change the system. Also, she is human and allowed to make as error; if she is even the one that made this error. The person who made this mistake did not kill anyone or steal your stuff. Stop the hating and the bashing. Lastly, I would think someone from this site would have checked the information before the article was posted.

This is terribley trick of the FISD,to poly wrong position for a good candidate.
I place my vote for Rodrigo and for Albright.

If the article is correct, Albright will be running against Rodrigo and
Menendez,so you must make a decision as to which candidate will serve the district the best. Check them all out at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Building on March 24th, then make your choice.

Do they really pay that secretary $95,000 a year? Can she read the forms?

    • SLfortbender says:

Yes, his “top” secretary. His “secondary” assistant “only”receives about $85,000 or so. Kinda makes me wonder why I bother telling my kids that they need college degrees to make anywhere near six figures when BOTH of his secretaries are doing so without one – AND had moving expenses paid for to come from Virginia Beach, unless I’m mistaken.

To many small errors(FBISD) is a sign of misleadership at TAXPAYER voters high price to pay.
