Public Meeting Scheduled Tonight For Sugar Land’s Comprehensive Mobility Plan

A public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. March 28 at Sugar Land City Hall, 2700 Town Center Blvd. North, for resident input on the final recommendations included in Sugar Land’s Comprehensive Mobility Plan.

The third and final public meeting will focus on items such as prioritization of recommendations, anticipated costs and potential funding sources.

The city’s Comprehensive Mobility Plan considers the potential for all modes of transportation, including commuter transit and commuter rail, freight rail, intra-city transit, walking, biking, air travel and automobiles.

A copy of the draft recommendations is available at http://sugarlandmobility.com and in the City Secretary Office at City Hall.

can’t make it to the meeting (although I’m sure city hall would write down my recommendations and perhaps follow them)…so here is my prioritization list: 1. tear down the hwy6 over hwy90 overpass and build hwy90 over hwy6 overpass, how it should have been done the first time if sugarland had competent city planners 2. have sugarland taxpayers build a non-stop commuter rail system into dowtown houston, remember no stops along the way 3. tear down all the stop lights on hwy90.
