Richmond Police Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

Richmond Police are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed the Korner Food Mart at 2115 Thompson on Saturday morning.

Richmond police are asking for help identifying this man, a suspect in an armed robbery Saturday morning.

Richmond Officer Michael Hicks responded to an aggravated robbery call on just after 10:00 a.m. April 23.  Investigation showed that the suspect entered the Korner Food Mart and placed a drink on the counter as if he were going to purchase it.  When the clerk opened the register the suspect pulled out a pistol and demanded the money from the clerk.

The clerk complied and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out of the store towards the TCR apartments next to the business.  There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 20-25 years of age, wearing a white long-sleeve zip up hoodie, an orange University of Texas baseball cap, black jeans and black tennis shoes. The hoodie had print on the front on both sides of the zipper.  The suspect was also wearing a black T-shirt with print under the hoodie.

Richmond Detectives are requesting anyone with identifying details on the suspect or circumstances surrounding this incident to contact the Richmond Police Department at 281-342-2849 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281- 342-TIPS (8477).

Information, which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect  involved could earn the caller up to a $5,000 cash reward.

    If they haven’t figured it out yet, that is the same guy that robbed the store in Rosenberg off Lane dr a couple of days ago.

    HEY THIS GUY HAS THE SAME HAT AND LOOKS LIKE THE SAME GUY WHO ROBBED THE BOTANICA PLACE ALSO ON THIS SITE SOMEONE SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS.
