Richmond police are crediting alert neighbors for a call to police that ended in the arrest of three suspects in a daytime residential burglary.
According to police, around 10:30 a.m. yesterday neighbors in the 1700 block of Long Drive noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area and saw two men “wiggle under” a slightly raised garage door at a nearby residence. The homeowner was away on an errand.
Richmond police officers responded, and located Brecia Gomez, a 22-year-old Sugar Land resident, seated in the driver’s seat of the suspicious vehicle. Gomez was arrested without incident and charged with burglary of a habitation.
The two suspects inside the house apparently heard the police and ran from the residence through the front door. Officers chased them on foot through several neighborhood back yards. The suspects were eventually arrested with some “initial resistance,” according to police.
Rosenberg police assisted in the arrests.
Michael Galloway, 19, and Keenan Kirton, 22, both residents of unincorporated Fort Bend County, were arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation. Stolen personal property from the home was recovered in the possession of the subjects at the time of their arrest.
All three were taken to the Fort Bend County Jail.

This is a great day for Fort Bend County to have arrested more people from the unincorporated sections of the County. I personally believe people should not be able to live anonomously where there are no towns and law enforcement. It is these unincorporated people who we should be most affraid of in my opinion.
