Sugar Land Town Square Hosts Paradise On The Plaza

Sugar Land Town Square will host Paradise on the Plaza, a party featuring island-themed refreshments and entertainment, on Friday, May 20.  The event will run from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Guests can enjoy music performed by Scott Kirby in the Plaza.  Kirby is an artist from Key West  whose style is described as relaxed, humorous and reminiscent of Jimmy Buffet.  In addition to live music, guests can compete in island games to win prizes, such as flipper races, where participants wear flippers and race to cross the finish line.

The Plaza will be decorated to match the island theme, featuring thatch huts, palm trees and other tropical elements. Cheeseburgers in Paradise, beer and margaritas will be available for purchase.
