The Sugar Land Skeeters, Sugar Land’s minor league baseball team, and Texas Direct Auto have announced a partnership agreement that will make Texas Direct Auto a Founding Partner of the Sugar Land Skeeters and StarTex Power Field.

The highlight of 10-year “Founding Partner” agreement is the retro bullpen cart that will feature Texas Direct Auto on the 70s-era cart, which were prevalent throughout professional baseball during the 70s and early 80s.
The highlight of 10-year “Founding Partner” agreement is the retro bullpen cart that will feature Texas Direct Auto on the 70s-era cart, which were prevalent throughout professional baseball during the 70s and early 80s. The yet-to-be-named cart will be visible with every Skeeters pitching change and will be supported by video board and public address announcements during the games.
“Being able to bring back such a fun memory from childhood is very exciting and an example of our take on the baseball experience,” said Christopher Hill, Skeeters vice president of business development. “Texas Direct Auto’s desire to have fun in our community makes this relationship special.”
The agreement also features premium signage in the stadium bullpens, as well as an advertisement in the game day playbill, a web banner on the official website, www.SugarLandSkeeters.com, annual use of StarTex Power Field and game sponsorships twice during the season.
“We are excited about our partnership with the Sugarland Skeeters, and we are looking forward to becoming even more involved with our community,” said Jessica DeMarr, director of business development with Texas Direct Auto. “We want to show how much we appreciate and enjoy serving our neighbors with this fun and unique opportunity!”
The cart is designed and manufactured by Soul Interface Studios.
