A 62-year-old man is in custody after a bar fight in Fort Bend County that ended with a fatal shooting.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, several patrons at the Club 1092 bar, at 510 F.M. 1092 near Stafford, got into an argument Monday inside the bar that later escalated into a physical altercation outside in the parking lot.
Around 2:10 a.m. Guadalupe Castellano shot 31-year-old Victor Avila-Avila in the upper torso, according to authorities.
Avila-Avila was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, downtown, where he was pronounced dead.
Castellano, a Houston resident, was arrested at the scene. He is currently incarcerated in the Fort Bend County Detention Facility facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, no bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
