Spooktacular planned for October 30 in New Territory
Boo Scarritory Spooktacular is coming to New Territory in Sugar Land, October 30, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at The Club in New Territory (1200 Walker School Road, Sugar Land). It will be fun for all ages.
The Girl Scouts of Rainbow Stars Service Unit have identified that every child looks forward to having a ton of fun at Halloween! Who could resist all of those goodies and a chance to dress up like Spiderman or a beautiful ballerina! But unfortunately, Halloween is not as innocent as it once was. Therefore, the Girl Scouts are planning a carnival full of activities for the kids. This event will provide a way for the parents to have their children experience the pleasures of Halloween in a safe environment.
There will be a Haunted House, approximately 20 carnival-like games for the children to play (prizes include Family Fun Pack to HNSM, Tickets to Ghost Tours of Galveston, Halloween novelty items and kid’s coupons (from Chick-fil-A, Pepperoni’s Chili’s, Willie’s, and Jason’s Deli)), the Sugar Land Fire Truck (3 – 4 pm), Halloween photo opportunity, inflatables, and your favorite carnival food by O’Henry’s.
The first 300 kids will get a Halloween goody bag with extra goodies—donated by Whatley CPA Firm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for 10 tickets for $7.00 (till October 22); activities will either be 1 or 2 tickets. The event is sponsored by The Club at New Territory and Rainbow Stars Service Unit. Proceeds from this event will benefit Rainbow Stars Service Unit Girl Scout Troops 721 and 744.
