FBISD offers free special education early childhood screenings
Fort Bend ISD will provide screenings for children ages 3-5 who are identified as having communication, social, emotional, and/or developmental delays. The screening will be provided free-of-charge to families who reside within Fort Bend ISD. (Parents of children who do not reside within FBISD are asked to contact their local school district for screening information.)
To participate in early childhood screenings:
• Children must not be eligible for Texas Public School enrollment.
• Children must be five years of age on or before September 1 to enroll in kindergarten in the state of Texas.
• Children must not be currently enrolled in FBISD’s prekindergarten program.

All screenings will be held from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm on the following dates at the listed locations.
