Ladies are invited to a very special event, February 10 at 301 Morton Street, Girls’ Night Out.

“We are inviting all of the ladies in the community to join us for a special evening, right before Valentine’s Day, February 10, 5:30p.m. -8:00 p.m. There will be candles, wine, strawberries and live jazz music. We will be giving away prizes every 15 minutes,” said Norma Cavazos, owner, Lola-Rose Candles.

Cavazos added the prizes that will be given away are from Italian Maid, Mesologie Spa, Joseph’s Furniture, Sandy McGee’s and Lola-Rose Candles. Also all attending are asked to bring canned and dry food to be donated to St. John Fisher Church, St. Vincent de Paul Pantry.

There’s nothing like a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner, and the Italian Maid is cooking up a special wine dinner for Tuesday, February 14.

The Italian Maid Café’s special Valentine’s menu starts with romantic strawberry fields and fennel salad and Mama Mia’s homemade lasagna. The next course is tender short ribs and market fresh fish with hericot vertes with baby carrots. Panna Cotta and red raspberries will close the dinner.
