The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Fort Bend County area and throughout the Houston region effective Saturday afternoon through 7 p.m. Sunday.

Despite a large increase in robberies, the overall violent crime rate in Sugar Land is down, mainly due to a significant decrease in aggravated assaults.

SLFD Annual Report Shows Most Calls For Service Are For Ambulances
